Our Membership is divided into three main categories as noted below.
Summary of Membership Categories and Dues:
Active Member – Composer Regular Listing– Site Access and Listing Only – Dues $75
Active Member – Composer Premium Listing – Site Access and Full Page Listing – Dues $125 – Special Introductory Offer – included in $75 category. Page can list recent publications, top 10 (or qty) compositions, workshop/concert availability, schedule of concerts, etc. Composition Evaluation offered, etc.
Active Member – Publisher Regular Listing – Site Access, Listing, Link to web site – $100
Active Member – Publisher Premium Listing – Site Access, and Full Page to include links to About Us, History, Contact Info, Catalogs Link, Submittal Procedures Link, Licenses and Permissions link and other info as desired.
Affiliate Member – Individual or Organization User of Sacred Music – Dues $50.
Associate Member – Supplier of Products/Services to the Above – Dues – $100 if Annual Sales is less than $2 Million; $200 if Annual Sales is greater than $2 Million.
Following are details and examples of the membership categories.
How to Join: Determine membership category and dues amount based on the following: Note: The dues amount is for one year unless specified, and one years of dues must be submitted with the membership application.
1. Active Members
Individual Sacred Music Composer: Individuals who have composed anthems/ songs/instrumentals – published or unpublished. Dues Amount: $75/year
Music Publishing Companies: Must be a member of the Church Music Publishers Association (CMPA). Dues Amount: Introductory Special: $100. Includes multiple links and additional information. Note; An official representative individual employee must be designated.
Note: Only Active category members may vote and hold office.
2. Affiliate Members
Organizations/companies or individuals who represent users of sacred music. Dues Amount: $50/year. Examples: Music Departments of Educational Institutions, Community Choruses, a Church Music ministry, Orchestras, Bands, Other Instrumental Ensembles, Private Music instructors/teachers.
3. Associate Members
Companies, organizations and/or individuals who supply goods and services to Active and/or Affiliate members. Dues Amount: $100/year ( if sales under $2 Million) $200/year (if sales over $2 Million). Examples of Goods or Services: Music Notation Software, Sheet Music, Music Stores, Pianos, Organs, Musical Instruments, Choir Robes, Handbells, Legal Firms, Insurance Providers, etc.
